Saff uses a workspace wallet and shows estimates before documents are processed.
Prepaid wallet
Each workspace has one locked billing currency. You choose it when the workspace is created, add balance in that currency, and document extraction is deducted as documents are processed.
Before processing, Saff shows an estimate based on the table fields, number of documents, page count, and Basic or Enhanced mode. The final deduction is calculated when processing runs.

What affects the estimate
The more fields you ask Saff to extract, the higher the estimate. A table with up to 10 fields has the base estimate; 20 fields generally costs about twice as much; 30 fields generally costs about three times as much.
Longer documents may also cost more. Documents from 1 to 5 pages use the base estimate, while larger documents may require more wallet balance in the workspace currency.
Enhanced Extraction costs more than Basic Extraction and is not included in the free trial.

Free trial
Every account gets 15 free documents a month, refreshed on the 1st. Free documents cover up to 5 pages each, any number of columns, on Basic or Auto, and are extracted overnight. A funded wallet gets every batch back in minutes; Enhanced Extraction is charged from the wallet.
A free document is counted once processing starts. If a document fails before processing starts, it is not counted.
All estimates are guidance only. The final wallet deduction is calculated during processing, and the wallet balance history is the source of truth for balance changes.
